Biography of George White III
George White, III is an evangelist for the churches of Christ. Born to I.V. and Ola Bertha White, Brother White is a native of Abbeville, South Carolina and has labored in God’s vineyard as a Minister of the gospel of Christ since the age of 26. He is married to his Beloved wife, Mary, and has three beautiful adult children, Ola-Cymone, Giovanni Luis, and George White, IV. In addition to having had the honor of serving alongside his father, Evangelist, I.V. White, as Minister at the Haigler Street Church of Christ in Abbeville, South Carolina, George has also labored as a Minister of many other congregations.
Concerning his formal education, Brother White has graduated from several schools. He received an AS Degree from Southwestern Christian College, in Terrell Texas, holds a B.A. in Religion from Pepperdine University, in Malibu, California. Brother White has also completed a second Bachelors in Human Services, from Mercer University, in Macon Georgia. Brother White earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and holds a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) from Emory University, in Atlanta Georgia, totaling over 15 years of formal training and over 20 years of pastoral experience.
Brother White has completed both internship and residency Chaplaincy programs of Atlanta’s Emory University Hospital’s Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Moreover, he has also recently visited the countries of Jordan, Israel, and Greece, has cinematographically documented many ancient biblical “holy sites” of the Middle East, and has produced a DVD movie. Moreover, Brother White has authored a book entitled “The Gift That Keeps on Giving,” designed to teach others to patiently deliver souls from being lost to newborn Believers… to God be the glory.
